Series Overview

Understanding and improving your relationship with food

How do you define your relationship with food? What does it look like? In this class, I’ll be teaching you how to start to relieve feelings of anxiety, guilt, shame, or obsession around food. You’ll also learn how to begin to cultivate a more neutral relationship with food - so food doesn’t take up so much of your precious brain space.

How to address emotional eating and stress eating to cope with trauma

Many of us grew up without learning proper coping mechanisms for traumatic experiences or negative emotions, which might have resulted in emotional or stress eating. In this class, I’m going to teach you why your emotional eating keeps happening, how you can better understand and recognize your triggers, how you can learn to prevent binge sessions from occurring - and what to do when they do happen. This one is jam-packed with strategies!

Managing disordered eating

Food rules, food fears, bingeing on certain foods, restrict-binge cycle, compulsive exercise - we’ll be talking about all of that and more in this class. As is the theme with this class series, I’ll be focusing on practical steps you can take to neutralize the thoughts and feelings that lead to disordered eating patterns.

Creating more trust in your body and food patterns

Trusting your body, your food choices comes from knowing yourself and feeling confident in the nutrition choices you make. This process will take time if you have had a disordered relationship with food for a long time. However, the more you begin to establish trust with your body and your health habits, the more natural it will feel and the easier it will get. In this class, I’ll be teaching you how to begin to lean into this trust by incorporating intuitive eating practices.

How to establish gentle nutrition guidelines - free from restriction

Confidence in your healthy lifestyle and relationship with food doesn’t just come from food freedom: it comes from confidence and knowledge around your nutritious food choices, and being able to allow yourself to enjoy indulgent foods mindfully. In this class, I’ll be diving into the practical nutrition guidelines that will enable you to feel confident in your food choices - without calorie counting or macro tracking.

Wellness habits for your mind, body and soul

Now that we’ve covered food, your relationship with it, and body image, let’s discuss everything else: your healthy habits. I’m talking about sleep, gut health, stress, hormones, emotional wellbeing, and more. In this final class, I’m going to teach you a few key strategies you can use to optimize these health habits to not only keep your mental health top notch, but your physical health, too - always without feeling restrictive or extreme.
